The fifth most luxury sports utility vehicle is the 2015 Land Range Rover Sport, featuring a 5.0L V8 550hp engine and the latest cutting edge technology including 8-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, ABS and an integrated navigation system. Aesthetically, the Range Rover Sport is, as its name suggests, a very sporty looking model and is supposedly both “the most dynamically focused Land Rover vehicle ever” and the most powerful, capable of top speeds of up to 162mph.

Though the 2015 Porsche Cayenne offers very few different features to its predecessors, it nonetheless remains among the very elite of luxury sports utility vehicles ranking as the fourth most expensive of its type in the world. The Porsche Cayenne comes in several variations including the Cayenne S, Diesel, Turbo and the all-new S E-Hybrid as well as potential GTS and Turbo S models in the near future. Made in America, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz GL is the German manufacturer’s biggest luxury sports utility vehicle ever. Despite its larger frame, the design of the GL is nonetheless relatively more subtle than other vehicles in the class with soft curves contrasting its naturally rugged look. The GL offers four powertrain options and four-wheel drive, complimented by an AMG 5.5L V-8 550hp twin turbo engine.

The Mercedes Benz G Class retains the original 1970 utilitarian design for which it was so popular in the military.
