Trident Iceni: Unlocking the Power of Diesel

The quest for a fuel-efficient sports car has been for far too long, largely dominated by one dimensional design approach – plug-in or hybrid electric engines – and in that pursuit the industry has not given serious consideration to the obvious benefits that diesel power potentially can bring.

The Trident Iceni represents a revolutionary approach, with a dream to produce a Grand Tourer with unique features and innovations. Sporting a 6.6-litre V8 turbo diesel engine, the car is designed to produce 395 horsepower and an incredible 700 pound-feet of torque. All that power and torque means it can hit 60mph in just 3.7 seconds, and a top speed of over 190mph, all while claiming a range of around 2,000 miles on a single fill-up. With such a rip-roaring performance, the company wishes to produce a greener engine whilst maintaining a high-performance-driven philosophy.

The car incorporates over thirty-nine bespoke, designed and manufactured components including wheels, seats, air-vents, instruments, door-pulls, handles, occulight roof panels, lights, glass, grilles, gearbox and differential for a truly unique performance motoring experience.  With a classic British sporting-inspired style that is also available in a convertible, fastback, and shooting brake body it’s really hard to go wrong with this one. £90,000 right that is.
