Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos are the winners of the fourth BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund Prize. The boys were awarded with the prize last night and further presented with an illustration by David Downtown. The prize was awarded at a cocktail party at London’s Café Royal Hotel, hosted by Vogue’s Alexandra Shulman and British Fashion Council chairman Natalie Massenet. The other nominees included designers, Henry Holland. Emilia Wickstead, Mary Katrantzou, Zoe Jordan and Osman. Attendees also included the previous winners Erdem Moralioglu and Nicholas Kirkwood and other designs enthusiasts who came sporting the nominees designs.
Caroline Rush explains, ”The BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund has a proven track record of enabling British designers to make the transition from rising stars to incredible international businesses.” On the winners she further comments, ”Peter and Christopher have won the hearts and minds of the industry and public with their vibrant colours and unforgettable prints.”
