The New Destination for Shoe Heaven at Harrods

No matter how bad your day is going, none of it seems to matter if you are wearing the right shoes. Harrods, the upmarket department store in London understands that and will now be home to the world’s largest luxury shoe destination, Shoe Heaven. Shoe addict that I am, Harrods’ Shoe Heaven not only makes me feel better about loving shoes but also brings 17 chic boutiques and over 50 leading designers and brands under one roof.

Designed by the late David Collins, the 42,000 square feet retail space on the Fifth Floor of the Knightsbridge store features velvet banquet lounge seating, private shopping suites and beautifully edited displays to offer customers an enhanced shopping experience. From stilettos to sneakers, Harrods Shoe Heaven will be home to all the best shoes from the world’s leading designers and brands including Christian Dior, Chanel, Christian Louboutin, Valentino, Manolo Blahnik and Louis Vuitton.

The Luxury Shoe Destination

“We have worked closely with Harrods to create a retail concept that reflects the brand’s global reputation for delivering a superlative shopping experience to the world’s most discerning clientele,” Simon Rawlings, Creative Director of David Collins Studio was quoted as saying. “This has been such a prestigious assignment for us, designing a truly outstanding retail environment which is one of the biggest ever undertaken by Harrods.”

To celebrate the launch, Harrods also invited leading designers and brands including Dior, Christian Louboutin, Prada, Jimmy Choo and Giuseppe Zanotti to each design a limited edition shoe as part of the Harrods’ exclusive Silver Linings Collection.
