Among his greatest achievement, Jones is famed for his glowing career as a record producer to some of the world’s most pivotal musicians, most notably co-producing Michael Jackson’s most celebrated 1979 album ‘Off the Wall’. Jones is also legendary for his work as a composer, founder of Vibe music magazine and a humanitarian, with trumpet-skills to rival the legends of the game. To honour the life and works of this most beloved musical innovator, Montegrappa has developed a pen that lives up to the name of its inspiration.

Jazzy in appearance, the Quincy Jones pen stars his personal logo situated in the top cap and a colour-enhanced ‘Q’ engraved. Calibrated with fine features, its black carbon textured barrel is accented finely in bold and multi-coloured resin rings which decorate it in a marble pattern. Striking simplicity in design gives it functionality in usage. The sleek arched pocket clip made of brass is a classic, perfectly finished with Montegrappa’s rolling-ball end piece that is designed to facilitate easy pocket ingress and egress. In keeping with the wholly musical theme, the end barrel is polished with a sculpted loudspeaker cone. For the rollerball and marker versions, Quincy Jones’ elegant signature is engraved at the finger grip, while the opulent solid 18K gold nib carries his signature on the fountain pen. Montegrappa wish to restrict production to a limited edition of 1933 fountain pens, 1933 rollerball pens and 1933 luxury markers.
