To celebrate the arrival of Chanel’s recent Paris in Rome collection, Karl Lagerfeld shot a campaign video with his favourite muse, Kristen Stewart. Ever since she was chosen as the face of Metiers d’art Paris Dallas collection in 2013, the actress has been a regular feature in all things Chanel and even starred as Mademoiselle Coco Chanel herself in the short film, Once and Forever.
The set is a Parisian apartment, and we see Kristen adorned from head to toe in the finest Chanel pieces. She is dressed as an Italian movie starlet, with hints of very sensuous vibes. With her tousled hair, bold lips and monochrome ensemble, she looks content admiring herself in the mirror.
Of course with Kristen we always expect stunning eye makeup, which is exactly what we got. Her smoky eye look can only be pulled off by just a few so it’s little wonder that she’s the face of Chanel’s Collection Eyes, one of their latest eye makeup collections.
The campaign easily gives off a fine blend of sensuality and elegance which is a good representation of a true modern Chanel woman. There were two videos released, both in the same set and shot in black and white.
