Jumeirah at Etihad Towers has launched a new dining concept to celebrate the opulence of the roaring twenties with ‘Gatsby Soirées at Brasserie Angélique.’
Available every Friday evening throughout November 2014, the Gatsby Soirées will combine the delicacies of traditional French cuisine and the infectious flair of the Gatsby era. Chef de Cuisine Niels Van Oers has designed a four-course French dinner with themed drinks, designed to impress both connoisseurs and fans of French cuisine. The evenings are set against the elegant décor and ambience of the restaurant’s interiors and accompanied by live jazz piano music and a singer.
The evening starts with tantalising apéritifs including “Goose pâté en croute” of pickled cherries and quince jelly with a succulent slow-cooked Entrecôte as main course and an exquisite chocolate fondant for dessert. The price is AED 300* per person and AED 450* per person with beverages. Anyone who dresses ‘Gatsby-style’ will be rewarded with a complimentary glass of bubbly.
