Hublot just recently unveiled its Big Bang Caviar “Lady 305″ timepiece with a big bang, where else but in Miami. No surprises there because the latest collection owes its case back to the South Florida area code, “305” and to the skyline of Miami’s South Beach. The launch was perfectly paired with cocktails at Zuma, a private dinner prepared by Chef Michael Lewis, an award presentation by Haute Living magazine and (an absolutely award-worthy) private-yacht after party upon Ridinger private yacht, Utopia II.
Jean-Francois Sberro, CFO with Hublot, Gabrielle Union, Nikki and Mike Simkins, Michelle and Jason Rubell, Shannon Allen, wife of Miami Heat’s Ray Allen, Jenine Howard, wife of Miami Heat’s Juwan Howard and endless bottles of Dom Perignon were among the many that witnessed the launch of the “Lady 305″ collection, which is a special edition especially developed to honor South Florida.
Based on the unique, iconic design of Hublot’s famous one million-dollar Black Caviar, its colours evoke the sand and the sea. Directly inspired by the black ceramic Big Bang Black Caviar timepiece, which has been one of the brand’s bestsellers since 2011, its two watches, sport a sleek, graphic look with sharp angles and reliefs.
The 41 mm-diameter watch was made especially for women and features 36 topazes set in 5N red gold or steel. Fitted with Hublot’s HUB1112 self-winding movement on a blue Hornback alligator strap, there are 10 watches in 18k gold and 25 versions produced in steel. This limited series with the former faring for $37,900 and the silver version priced at $16,800 is exclusively available at the Hublot Bal Harbour Boutique, in Miami.
