Gucci and Net-a-Porter have teamed up to launch an exclusive capsule collection in which every piece is as just as enviable as the next. Designed by Gucci’s Creative Director, Alessandro Michele, the 20-piece strong selection is comprised of statement pieces which further adds to the ever-increasing portfolio of Net-a-Porter-only designer wear.
The collection features several of Gucci’s signature designs which have been reinterpreted, with the Ace sneaker and Dionysus both making an appearance.
Speaking on the collection, the President of Net-a-Porter and Mr. Porter, Alison Loehnis says: “Our customer cannot seem to get enough of Gucci. Working on the exclusive project has been a thrill and we’re incredibly excited to be launching this global first on Net-a-Porter. Alessandro has an immense talent and vision and as we’ve come to expect from him, the collection is exquisite.”
Marco Bizzarri, Gucci’s President and CEO also spoke about the capsule collection and collaboration explaining that: “Net-a-Porter has set the standard for online luxury fashion retailing, interpreting collections and bringing fashion to life in a uniquely engaging and compelling way.
