The First of Six Bespoke Ferrari Sergio Has Landed on U.A.E. Highway

The first Ferrari Sergio has arrived in the United Arab Emirates and been delivered to its new owner, the SBH Royal Auto Gallery, during the recent Ferrari Finali Mondiali.

Designed by Pininfarina, only six of these incredibly unique roadsters are being built. It takes its name after the man who led Pininfarina for 40 years and conceived some of the greatest car legends, Sergio Pininfarina. This limited edition prancing horse was created to celebrate the spirit and core values of the Cambiano company, in the 60th year of its collaborative relationship with Ferrari.

The Sergio, in fact, is a two-seater barchetta that looks to the future, very compact, very sporty, racy, pure and sensual. An exercise that Pininfarina decided to undertake on Ferrari 458 Spider mechanicals. Its formal interpretation is absolutely free, in the best tradition of the Pininfarina research which has produced so many Ferrari-based concept cars or unique models now recognised as masterpieces. The result is a modern, organic view of the mid-rear-engined two-seater barchetta.

Powered by the latest 605hp version of Ferrari’s naturally aspirated 4497cc V8 engine which has won the International Engine of the Year award three times, consecutively. Sergio is capable of sprinting from 0-100km/h in just 3 seconds. The tech in the car is based on the 458 Spider and retains its technological content as well as all of the functional aspects of the cockpit. As an authentic open-top, the Ferrari Sergio explicitly references the track, underscoring and intensifying its sense of sportiness, sheer fun behind the wheel and the pleasure of design at its best.

Each of the six Ferrari Sergios was configures by its owner in dedicated session at teh Tailor Made atelier in Maranello where clients are invited to personalize their cars to their individual tastes. As a result, every details is extremely exclusive, thereby continuing the tradition that Ferrari began in the 1950s and 60s of creating truly bespoke cars minutely tailored to each client’s unique tastes.
