Burberry showcases a Commemorative Collection for its New Store in Japan

Burberry announces the opening of its first free-standing store in Japan. The global British luxury brand is heading east as the land of rising sun is also making a comeback as the land of luxury.

Located at Shinsaibashi, Osaka, the new standalone outpost is set over two floors. Spreading out at 8,690 square feet, the store houses the largest Burberry product assortment in Osaka. Apart from the brand’s collection of iconic Made in England trench coats, Burberry Osaka woos its Japanese fans with a collection of men’s and women’s accessories exclusively designed to commemorate the opening. The Osaka-exclusive collection includes limited edition versions of key Burberry bag styles – The Mini Bee bag and The Petal bag for women.

Offering womenswear, menswear, accessories, eyewear and watches, the store boasts of Burberry Prorsum, Burberry London, Burberry Brit, Heritage, Accessories and Burberry Osaka Exclusive collections. Upping the tech quotient too along with style, the in-store digital screens showcase Burberry content and broadcast live events directly from the brand’s global headquarters in London, enabled by the Burberry retail theatre concept. Burberry’s association with Japan isn’t new as the brand already has four mainline stores and thirteen concessions in locations including Omotesando, Kobe, Ginza Marronnier Dori and Roppongi.
