Miuccia Prada once again looked to Hollywood for her heartthrobs: the Italian designer’s new menswear campaign stars four of today’s most exciting leading men. Captured by British fashion photographer Craig McDean, the new campaign features Ansel Elgort, silver screen legend Ethan Hawke, rising star Jack O’Connell, and Miles Teller.

Jack O’Connell (Unbroken; Starred Up; ‘71)

Shot in London and New York, the agitated action packed images show close-ups of the stars’ hands and faces. The Italian luxury fashion house’s campaign also shows objects like knife, orange, dice, prism, compass, pen, lens, pendulum being picked up, moved and balanced by the elegantly dressed men. Not looking into the lens of the camera, the pictures show the men focusing intently on their hand props.

Miles Teller (The Spectacular Now; Whiplash; The Fantastic Four).

Throughout the images, the highlight is on the stitching of the collection. The ad campaign shows a graphic effect, large, small, in contrasting colors, revolutionizing and mixing classic codes while creating new ones. The images’ muted color switches to bold black and white, then back again, which reflects the four actors’ fragmented mental focus – Silence, a space for secrets.

Ethan Hawke (The ‘Before’ Trilogy; Boyhood; Predestination; Regression)

The collection’s leitmotiv, an overstitched graphic effect in contrasting color, is also shown off in the campaign, appearing on 1970s style lapels and collars.
