At 99m (324ft), the majestic M/Y Madame Gu certainly does make a deep impression. Built by Feadship with world class styling from Winch Design and De Voogt Naval Architects, Madame GU possesses a nimble balance between drama and elegance – with its striking exterior detailing, fast-flowing lines and a surprisingly smooth, slender shape.
M/Y Madame Gu sleeps up to 12 guests across six luxuriously appointed staterooms, including a grand master stateroom and five guest cabins and is taken care of by a numerous crew of 36 members.
Amongst its special amenities and extras are two 11-metre tenders and scuba gear as well as a beach club, gym and jacuzzi on deck. Building on their on 81-metre M/Y Air, launched in 2011, and the fully enclosed helicopter hangar which was developed for 86-metre M/Y Ecstasea from 2004, Madam Gu was the second Feadship to feature enclosed helicopter storage system.
Madame Gu’s speed, size, technical complexity and levels of exterior and interior detailing make her a record-breaker and brave obliterator of industry conventions, taking motor yacht design to new territories.
At the time of her delivery, Madame Gu was the largest superyacht to emerge from the Netherlands. Sleek, powerful and spectacularly detailed, this 2013 launch has since travelled the oceans and made her mark on the world’s marinas.
